We are hiring for an NGO working to empower vulnerable children through education.Role DescriptionThe Head of Fundraising is a full time, in office role based in Mumbai, responsible for designing and leading comprehensive fundraising strategies. This role involves identifying, cultivating, and stewarding major donors and philanthropic partners, as well as building and managing relationships with charities and other funding organizations. The Head of Fundraising will oversee proposal development, donor communications, and impact reporting to ensure transparency and alignment with stakeholders’ priorities. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting fundraising targets, managing campaigns and events, coordinating with internal teams, and maintaining accurate records and pipelines in fundraising systems. The position requires strong leadership to guide fundraising staff, optimize processes,



and support sustainable revenue growth for client organizations.QualificationsDemonstrated experience in fundraising, including planning and executing multi-channel campaigns.Proven ability to engage and manage relationships with major donors and high-value funding partners.Understanding of philanthropy, charitable giving trends, and collaboration with charities and nonprofit organizations.Strong communication skills, including the ability to write compelling proposals, reports, and donor communications.Strategic planning skills, with experience setting fundraising goals and monitoring performance metrics.Leadership and team management experience, with the ability to mentor and develop fundraising staff.Ability to work in office in Mumbai, manage multiple projects, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Social Sciences, or a related field; advanced degree or fundraising certifications are an advantage.Familiarity with fundraising CRM systems, data analysis, and budgeting is beneficial.
