About the Role

This is opening on our Information Security team, and the level you're brought in at depends on your experience:

- 0 – 2 years of relevant experience (including freshers with strong fundamentals)

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor security alerts, logs, and dashboards (SIEM/SOC tooling) to identify and triage potential threats or anomalies.
- Support vulnerability assessment and management — scanning, tracking, and following up on remediation with engineering teams.
- Assist in security incident response: initial investigation, evidence collection, and documentation.
- Help maintain and review security policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and playbooks.
- Support internal and customer-facing security audits and compliance efforts (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR).
- Assist with cloud security posture reviews across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments, aligned with CSPM/KSPM/DSPM best practices.
- Track and report on security metrics, open findings, and audit action items.
- Stay current on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry security trends.

Additional Responsibilities

- Own configuration, tuning, and health of SIEM/SOC tooling,



alert rules, and detection use cases.
- Lead incident response for moderate-severity incidents, including root cause analysis and remediation planning.
- Design and implement security controls across cloud infrastructure, applications, and endpoints.
- Partner with engineering teams on shift-left security — secure coding practices, IaC scanning, and secrets management.
- Automate repetitive security tasks and reporting using scripting (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Mentor and review the work of Information Security Analysts.

What We're Looking For

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of core security concepts: networking fundamentals, OS security, encryption, authentication/authorization, and common attack techniques.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as OWASP Top 10, MITRE ATT&CK;, NIST, or ISO 27001.
- Basic exposure to SOC/SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Microsoft Sentinel, or the ELK stack) is a plus — hands-on SOC experience is not mandatory.
- Good analytical thinking, attention to detail, and clear written communication for documenting findings and reports.




- Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, cloud-native security product environment.

Nice to Have

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud security concepts.
- Familiarity with containers/Kubernetes security.
- Scripting/automation experience (Python, Bash, or similar).
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CySA+ (or actively pursuing one).
