Role Overview:

Neutrino Advisory is looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong hands-on experience building and supporting data solutions on AWS. The role requires solid experience with Amazon Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, Amazon AppFlow, Lambda, and SQL. You will work on data ingestion, transformation, data pipelines, data warehouse solutions, and integrations across different enterprise data sources.

This is a hands-on role, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable designing solutions as well as writing SQL/Python, building pipelines, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing existing data processes. Experience with AI/GenAI tools is also important. Experience with Snowflake and Azure is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes on AWS.
- Develop and support data warehouse solutions using Amazon Redshift.
- Build data ingestion and transformation processes using S3, AWS Glue, Amazon AppFlow, and Lambda.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data transformation, reporting, reconciliation, and analysis.
- Work with data from APIs, SaaS applications, databases, flat files, and other enterprise sources.
- Design data models and structures to support reporting and analytics requirements.
- Implement data quality checks, validation, monitoring, and error-handling processes.
- Troubleshoot data pipeline failures, SQL issues, and Redshift performance problems.
- Work with business, reporting, analytics, and application teams to understand data requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
- Participate in technical design and architecture discussions.




- Follow data security, governance, and engineering best practices.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
- Participate in code reviews and help improve development standards across the team.

Required Qualifications

- 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, ETL/ELT, or similar roles.
- Strong hands-on experience working with AWS data services.
- Strong experience with: Amazon Redshift, Amazon S3, AWS Glue, Amazon AppFlow, AWS Lambda
- Excellent SQL skills, including complex queries, data transformations, and performance tuning.
- Positive experience with Python for data processing, automation, and Lambda development.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, ETL/ELT, and data lake concepts.
- Experience building and supporting production data pipelines.
- Experience troubleshooting data and pipeline performance issues.
- Experience working with Git and CI/CD processes.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned technical work.
- Good communication skills and experience working with technical and business stakeholders.

AI / GenAI Experience

- Hands-on experience using AI/GenAI tools as part of development or data engineering work.




- Understanding of how LLMs and AI services can be integrated with data platforms and applications.
- Experience with Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, AI APIs, RAG, vector databases, or similar technologies is a plus.
- Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.

Nice to Have

- Experience with Snowflake.
- Experience with Azure data technologies, including Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, or Fabric.
- Experience with AWS Step Functions, Airflow/MWAA, or similar orchestration tools.
- Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and data quality practices.
- AWS certifications.
- Experience working with Financial Services and/or Healthcare clients.

Employment Details:

- Employment Type: Contract
- Contract Duration: Initial 6-month contract with a strong possibility of extension based on project requirements and performance.
- Working Hours: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST
- Location: Remote (Mumbai, Delhi or Bangalore preferred)
- Proposed Start Date: Early as possible
