About the RoleWe are looking for a Cybersecurity & Information Security Intern to support our team with day-to-day security, compliance, audit, and documentation activities.The role will involve working on client security questionnaires, security documentation, internal and external audits, Scrut, ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, and VAPT activities. This is a good opportunity for someone who wants practical exposure to how information security and compliance are managed in a real-world organization.Key ResponsibilitiesHelp respond to client security questionnaires and security-related requests.Collect and maintain security documents, screenshots, reports, policies, and other audit evidence.Assist with internal and external security audits and coordinate with relevant teams to collect required information.Support ongoing Scrut-based internal audit and compliance activities.Assist with compliance activities related to ISO 27001, SOC 2, and PCI DSS.Help maintain and organize security and compliance documentation.Assist in tracking audit findings, action items, and remediation status.Support Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) activities.Coordinate with external CERT-In empanelled VAPT/security vendors for assessments, reports, follow-ups, and remediation.Help maintain VAPT reports and track identified vulnerabilities until closure.Assist with basic security reviews and documentation as required.Research cybersecurity, information security,



and compliance requirements and help the team prepare the necessary evidence.What We Are Looking ForBasic understanding of Cybersecurity / Information Security concepts.Basic understanding of VAPT and common security vulnerabilities.Basic awareness of ISO 27001, SOC 2, and PCI DSS.Basic understanding of networking, web security, authentication, access control, and data security.Positive documentation and organizational skills.Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with different teams.Comfortable working with Excel/Google Sheets, Google Drive, and documentation tools.Strong attention to detail.Willingness to learn and take ownership of assigned tasks.Good to HaveExposure to Scrut or other GRC/compliance platforms.Understanding of ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, or other security/compliance frameworks.Prior cybersecurity projects, certifications, CTFs, or internship experience.Who Can Apply?Students or recent graduates pursuing/completed B.Tech/B.E., BCA, MCA, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related degree.Candidates interested in building a career in Cybersecurity, Information Security, GRC, or Compliance.Freshers are welcome to apply.What You Will Get Exposure ToReal-world client security questionnaires and security assessments.ISO 27001, SOC 2, and PCI DSS compliance activities.Internal and external security audits.Working with Scrut for compliance and audit activities.VAPT and coordination with external CERT-In empanelled vendors.Security documentation, evidence collection, and remediation tracking.Understanding how cybersecurity and compliance requirements are managed in a growing organization.
