Job Description:IntVerse Inc. is hiring an experienced SAP MM / Procure-to-Pay Consultant with hands-on Vertex tax engineexperience to join our India delivery team. You'll be deployed on a global Wave 2 rollout running through go-live and hypercare into July 2027, with continued opportunities across our SAP portfolio thereafter.Location: IndiaEmployment Type: Full-TimeStart: ImmediateWhat you'll do:Lead MM/PTP design and configuration for Wave 2 scope — purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipt, invoice verification, and vendor managementConfigure and validate purchase-side tax determination in SAP integrated with Vertex, including tax code determination, jurisdiction logic, and material/service taxability mappingOwn the PTP side of the SAP–Vertex interface: tax calculation on POs and invoices, use tax accrual, and reconciliation between SAP documents and Vertex tax registersHandle vendor-charged tax vs. self-assessed use tax scenarios in invoice verification (MIRO) and resolve tax variance and blocking logicWork with the tax and finance teams to translate procurement tax requirements into configuration and Vertex mapping rulesDrive functional unit testing, SIT, UAT,



and regression cycles for procurement and tax scenariosSupport data migration, cutover, and post-go-live hypercare with defect triage and resolutionPartner with FICO, OTC, and ABAP teams on cross-module and interface dependenciesWhat you'll bring:7+ years of hands-on SAP MM/PTP configuration experience5+ years of relevant business domain experience1–2 years working with Vertex integrated with SAP (purchase-side tax determination, use tax accrual, external tax interface)Robust command of the end-to-end procure-to-pay cycle and its integration touchpoints with FIUnderstanding of indirect tax on the purchasing side — use tax, exemption handling, and taxability by material and service typeExperience across full-lifecycle implementations or rollouts — design through go-live and hypercareProven ability to work with global stakeholders and distributed teamsNice to have:SAP S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement experienceExposure to SAP Ariba or other procurement platformsPrior multi-country or multi-wave rollout experienceHow to apply:Send your resume to [email protected] or [email protected] with subject line "SAP MM/PTP – Vertex Wave 2".
