To ensure smooth functioning, preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, and reliability of all mechanical equipment and utilities to achieve uninterrupted production operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for production machinery and utilities.
2. Attend and resolve mechanical breakdowns with minimum downtime.
3. Ensure availability and proper maintenance of critical spares and consumables.
4. Monitor machine performance and implement improvements for enhanced efficiency and reliability.
5. Coordinate with production teams to minimize equipment downtime.
6. Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
7. Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory requirements, and company policies.
8. Manage maintenance records, reports, checklists, and documentation.
9. Supervise maintenance technicians and contractors.
10. Participate in installation, commissioning,
and modification of current equipment.
11. Support TPM, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
12. Control maintenance costs and optimize resource utilization.
Educational Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech Mechanical Engineering
- Diploma Mechanical with relevant experience may also be considered.
Experience
- 6–10 years in maintenance of manufacturing industries.
- Experience in Busbar, Enamel Wire, Electrical, Cable, Copper Processing, or Engineering industries preferred.
