Responsibilities

- Responsible for Analysis and design of Solar PV Plant(Grid Tie and Off Grid).
- Design Execution involvement for off-grid, residential small commercial , lines of business of Solar Business Unit.
- Understanding detailed requirements and expectations of the customer
- Pre-Sales and Tendering support to define the right architecture in line with cost quality
- Planning and tracking of the overall project, as per the company rules and regulation
- Collaborates with Design Utility-scale teams, to improve the solutions offerings
- Responsible for Design documentations for PV Plant like Plant Layout, Single Line Diagram, Wiring diagram and
- Responsible for Design calculation for the PV Plant like Cable Loss Calculation, String Sizing, Performance Calculation.
- Responsible for preparation of technical spec, Field quality plan, standard operating process, BOQ, Controlling of budget quantities related to PV Plant DC and AC System.
- Shall be team member of QA group responsible for prototype sample, material selection, to conduct required tests as per the requirements ex. Pile load caring capacity test, salt spray test, etc.
- Responsible for Solar PV Project Execution supports, Involve with cross functional team, regular site visits to ensure quality, erection as per drawings assumption considered while designing, preparation of progress report, etc.
- Review of drawings and design documents received input from mechanical, electrical, control instrumentation other engineering team and handover of final designs/drawing to execution team.
- Vendor development,



vendor technical evaluation recommendation for finalization of vendor for Electrical, SCADA, civil/structural.
- Shall be part of innovation team for the implementation of new technologies to reduce project time and cost
- Coordinate Design/Tender/Construction Phases
- Managing Engineering and Drafting staff

Qualifications

- BE (Electrical/ Electronics) 8 10 years experience in Design Engineering (Electrical Automation Package) for EPC Projects like Solar / Thermal /Oil Gas relevant design software tools. Out of which min 4-5 years should be in Design engineering for Solar PV plant, leading small team and delivering objectives.

Business Understanding

- A candidate with excellent knowledge of Renewable / Solar PV Grid and rooftop Business is preferred.
- Experience for setting up of MW capacity and roof top solar plant.
- Should have understanding of various modules mounting arrangement and clamps designing
- Experience in providing PV Solutions as per site conditions and Customer s requirements
- Understanding of various solar polices driven by centre state government.
