Job Summary

Salesforce DevOps Engineer.

Role and Responsibilities.

Own and manage Salesforce CI/CD pipelines across development, QA, UAT, pre-production, and
production environments.

- Coordinate deployments and releases across multiple teams working on the same Salesforce org, including

dependency management, release scope, deployment sequencing, and production readiness.

- Manage Git repositories, branching strategies, pull requests, merge management, conflict resolution,

release branches, versioning, and production baselines.

- Execute and support metadata deployments, validation deployments, hotfixes, destructive changes,

environment refreshes, and post-deployment verification.

- Troubleshoot pipeline failures, metadata conflicts, Apex test failures, code-coverage issues, deployment

dependencies, and environment inconsistencies.

- Support Salesforce platform maintenance, release documentation, environment synchronization,

monitoring, audit readiness, deployment traceability, and continuous improvement of DevOps processes.

Skill Requirements

7+ years of relevant experience in Salesforce DevOps, release engineering, or platform administration.

- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce CI/CD, Salesforce CLI, Metadata API, source-format metadata,

package.xml, deployment validation, and automated testing.

- Strong experience with Azure DevOps, including Azure Pipelines, Azure Repos, branching, pull requests,

approval gates, release management, and work-item traceability.

- Good understanding of Salesforce metadata structures, component dependencies, security configurations,

and deployment considerations across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.

- Experience managing Salesforce sandboxes, environment refreshes, source synchronization, release

branches, production deployments, and controlled hotfixes.

- Strong troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and coordination skills, with experience

supporting multiple delivery teams in a complex enterprise Salesforce environment.
