We are looking for a motivated and responsible Production In-Charge to join our food manufacturing facility at Thanjavur.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, supervise, and monitor daily production activities.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per the schedule.
- Supervise production workers and allocate work efficiently.
- Monitor the preparation and processing of food products as per prescribed standards.
- Ensure proper usage of raw materials and minimize production wastage.
- Maintain production records, batch records, and other required documentation.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, quality, and workplace safety standards.
- Coordinate with Quality, Stores, Maintenance, and Management teams.
- Monitor machinery and production equipment and report breakdowns promptly.
- Identify production issues and take corrective action in coordination with the concerned team.
- Maintain cleanliness and discipline in the production area.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and product quality.
Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Food Technology, Food Science, Dairy Technology, Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
- Candidates with relevant food production / FMCG manufacturing experience will be preferred.
- Freshers who have successfully completed internships in food manufacturing, production, quality, or FMCG companies are also encouraged to applY
