About the Role

We’re looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor to join our in-house team.

This role is focused on editing and repurposing existing long-form entertainment content into engaging video formats. You’ll receive the source content and be responsible for identifying the right moments, timestamps, cuts, pacing, and creative treatment.

This is not a basic cutting or exporting role. We’re looking for someone who understands storytelling, emotions, hooks, music, transitions, visual effects, and audience retention.

- Funny Scenes
- Emotional Scenes
- Action Scenes
- Dialogue Clips

- Memorable Scenes

Short-Form

- YouTube Shorts
- Instagram Reels
- Facebook Reels
- Meme Content
- Viral Clips
- Trending Videos
- Scene & Dialogue Clips

Creative Editing

You’ll work on:

- Creative cuts & pacing
- Strong opening hooks
- Transitions & visual effects
- Music & sound effects
- Subtitles & typography
- Zooms & reframing
- Basic motion graphics
- Color correction
- Platform-specific formatting

Thumbnail Design

You’ll also create:

- YouTube thumbnails
- Trailer & teaser thumbnails
- Scene-based thumbnails
- Character-focused creatives
- Promotional thumbnails

Software

Strong knowledge of any professional editing software:

- Adobe Premiere Pro
- DaVinci Resolve
- Final Cut Pro

After Effects / Photoshop / Illustrator knowledge will be an added advantage.

What We’re Looking For





- 1–3 years of hands-on video editing experience
- Strong creative eye
- Good understanding of storytelling and pacing
- Ability to identify the strongest moments from existing content
- Understanding of short-form content and audience retention
- Strong sense of typography and visual composition
- Good music and sound instincts
- Ability to work independently from a brief
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
- Open to feedback and continuous learning
- Most importantly, someone who genuinely loves editing

Important

This role is not focused on podcast, UGC, or influencer-content editing.

Our primary focus is existing long-form entertainment content, which will be provided by the team.

You should be able to look at a piece of content and identify:

What can become a trailer?
What can become a teaser?
Which scene deserves a Reel?
Which dialogue can become a viral clip?
