Objective
Responsible for implementing and maintaining IND AS policies and procedures, providing guidance on complex accounting matters, and ensuring accurate and transparent financial reporting
Job description
- Techno-commercial proposal writing.
- Site work service provider engagement assistance.
- Site reconnaissance.
- Supervision of sub-surface utility clearance at site prior to soil-groundwater quality monitoring intrusive investigation.
- Supervision of soil-groundwater quality monitoring intrusive investigation.
- Supervision of topographical and top of casing surveys for groundwater flow direction establishment.
- Knowledge of field equipment operation – portable X-Ray Fluorescence equipment, portable photo-ionization detector, portable multi-parameter (pH, EC, TDS, DO and ORP) meter, water level meter (regular and oil-water interface) and in office and off-site calibration of all equipment.
- Knowledge of soil-groundwater quality analysis result screening w.r.t. Indian guideline/ standard, Dutch remediation circular, and/ or USEPA Preliminary Remediation Goals (PRGs).
- Coordination with internal team (environmental, geological, GIS, etc.) for proposal, work planning including health and safety, site work, and final report writing.
- EDD per International Finance Corporation (IFC) and other standards.
- Final report writing (ESA, EDD,
remediation action plan and project execution).
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review technical accounting, financial reporting, and auditing memorandums, including analysis of complex accounting matters.
- Evaluate and determine the appropriate accounting treatment for complex financial instruments in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Prepare and review financial statements to ensure compliance with Ind AS and applicable financial reporting requirements.
- Supervise, guide, and prepare consolidated and separate financial statements under Ind AS, IFRS, and US GAAP.
- Develop, review, and implement accounting policies and procedures aligned with Ind AS and other applicable financial reporting frameworks.
- Assess and advise on the accounting treatment of significant contracts and complex transactions, including revenue recognition, leases, financial instruments, and other critical accounting areas.
- Provide technical guidance and clarification on Ind AS matters, ensuring consistent interpretation and application of accounting standards across financial reporting engagements.
