Job Summary:

We are looking for a results-driven Online Bidder who will be responsible for generating new business opportunities through online bidding platforms. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, PeoplePerHour, Guru, or similar platforms and should be able to understand client requirements, prepare winning proposals, and convert leads into successful projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and bid on relevant projects through Upwork, Freelancer, PeoplePerHour, Guru, Fiverr, and other online platforms.
- Research and understand client requirements before submitting proposals.
- Write personalized, professional, and compelling proposals based on project requirements.
- Generate qualified leads and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Communicate with potential clients through emails, chat, calls, and online platforms.
- Follow up with prospects and convert leads into projects.
- Coordinate with the technical and management teams to understand project scope, pricing, and timelines.
- Prepare quotations and proposals based on client requirements.
- Negotiate with clients regarding project requirements, pricing, and timelines.
- Maintain records of bids, leads, follow-ups, conversions, and project status.
- Achieve monthly targets for bids, qualified leads, client meetings, and project closures.




- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
- Stay updated with market trends, competitor activities, and bidding-platform policies.

Required Skills:

- Minimum 6 Months to 4 years of experience in online bidding/business development.
- Hands-on experience with Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, PeoplePerHour, Guru, or similar platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong proposal writing and client-handling skills.
- Good understanding of Web Development and/or Digital Marketing services.
- Ability to understand technical requirements and communicate them effectively to clients.
- Positive follow-up and lead-conversion skills.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated approach.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.

Preferred:

- Experience working with a Web Development / IT / Digital Marketing company.
- Existing experience in generating international clients, particularly from the USA, UK, Europe, UAE, or other international markets.
- Knowledge of services such as PHP, WordPress, Shopify, Laravel, SEO, PPC, SMM, and Digital Marketing will be an added advantage.
