SENIOR ACADEMIC COUNSELLOR – PERINTHALMANNAJob Summary

Catalyst Education is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Academic Counsellor to join our Perinthalmanna team. The candidate will be responsible for counselling students and parents, managing qualified leads, driving admissions, and achieving individual and branch-level admission targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students and parents regarding courses, programs, and career opportunities.
- Understand student requirements and recommend suitable educational programs.
- Handle qualified leads through calls, WhatsApp, and face-to-face counselling.
- Convert prospective students into confirmed admissions.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with prospective students and parents.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly admission targets.
- Handle student and parent queries professionally.
- Maintain accurate lead, counselling, and admission records in CRM.
- Support junior counsellors with counselling and conversion strategies.
- Share feedback on lead quality, student requirements, and market trends.
- Coordinate with Academic, Marketing, Sales, and Branch teams.
- Participate in seminars, workshops, career guidance sessions, and promotional activities.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports on counselling, follow-ups, conversions, and admissions.

Requirements





- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification.
- 1–3 years of experience in Academic Counselling, Admissions, Sales, or EdTech.
- Prior EdTech/Education industry experience preferred.
- Excellent Malayalam and English communication skills.
- Strong counselling, convincing, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to achieve admission/sales targets.
- Strong follow-up and relationship-management skills.
- Valuable knowledge of CRM and basic computer applications.
- Confident, student-focused, and target-oriented approach.
