We are looking for a Paid Assistant / Accountant with strong accounting fundamentals and practical experience in maintaining books of accounts and preparing financial statements. The ideal candidate should have good working knowledge of Tally, MS Excel, and MS Word and be able to handle accounting work accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day books of accounts and accounting records.
- Record and verify accounting transactions accurately.
- Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Perform ledger scrutiny, bank reconciliations and other accounting activities.
- Maintain and update accounts using Tally.
- Prepare accounting reports, working sheets and reconciliations using MS Excel.
- Prepare reports, correspondence and other documents using MS Word.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
- Assist in month-end and year-end accounting activities.
- Ensure accuracy and timely completion of assigned accounting work.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and concepts.
- Good understanding of financial statement preparation.
- Good working knowledge of Tally is essential.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel.
- Valuable working knowledge of MS Word.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Prior experience in accounting will be preferred.
