Employment: Full-time | Office-based

Compensation: ₹4,00,000 – ₹6,00,000 per annum

About Mommy First

Mommy First® is a US-based maternal wellness and postpartum recovery brand serving mothers across the USA, Canada, Europe and the GCC.

We create thoughtfully designed products and care solutions that support women through pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum recovery, C-section recovery and breastfeeding.

We are now building our India operations from Thiruvananthapuram through NeoMed ParenTech India Pvt Ltd, the Indian company behind Mommy First's expansion in the country.

About the Role

As one of our early hires in India, the Operations Manager – India Operations will play a hands-on role in establishing and running Mommy First's day-to-day operations in India.

This is not a narrowly defined corporate role. You will work across logistics, inventory, business systems, vendors, office operations and management coordination, helping establish the processes and operating discipline required to support Mommy First as we grow across India.

We are looking for someone who takes ownership, follows things through and is comfortable solving practical problems rather than simply passing them on.

Key Responsibilities

Operations, Logistics & Inventory

- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs and clearing agents, warehouses, courier partners and other logistics providers.
- Track imports, inbound shipments, stock receipts, dispatches, returns and inventory.
- Follow up on shipment delays, damaged consignments, delivery failures, shortages and pending claims through to resolution.
- Coordinate periodic stock reconciliation between physical inventory, warehouse records and Zoho.
- Maintain clear trackers for outstanding operational issues and ensure actions are followed through to closure.
- Coordinate with warehouses and courier partners regarding fulfilment and delivery issues.
- Support hospital, distributor, retail and business partner visits across Kerala.
- Support the identification, evaluation and onboarding of new logistics and operational vendors as the business expands.
- Maintain organized records relating to shipments, inventory movements, vendor quotations and operational documentation.

Zoho & Business Systems

- Maintain accurate customer, distributor, hospital, vendor and operational records in Zoho.

- Update sales opportunities, quotations, sales orders, invoices, payments and follow-up activities.
- Support inventory and order management within relevant Zoho applications.
- Maintain routine dashboards, trackers and management reports.
- Monitor data quality and ensure records remain complete and up to date.
- Coordinate with Zoho support or external implementation partners when system assistance is required.
- Help improve workflows and operating processes as the India business grows.

Experience with Zoho CRM, Zoho Books, Zoho Inventory or Zoho One will be an advantage, but advanced technical or programming knowledge is not required.

Vendor & Partner Coordination

- Coordinate with warehouses, couriers, suppliers, logistics providers and other operational vendors.
- Maintain records of quotations, agreements, service commitments and outstanding actions.
- Follow up consistently on delayed or unresolved issues.
- Escalate recurring service failures when necessary.
- Support evaluation and comparison of new vendors.
- Maintain professional relationships with hospitals, distributors, business partners and service providers.

Office & Management Support

- Coordinate the day-to-day functioning of the Thiruvananthapuram office.
- Manage routine office vendors, utilities, supplies and service providers.
- Maintain organized records of contracts, invoices, samples and company documents.
- Track petty cash and routine business expenses and provide supporting records to the accountant.
- Coordinate management meetings, business travel and operational schedules when required.
- Record management and board action items and follow up on agreed actions.
- Help ensure important administrative and operational matters do not remain unresolved.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone with approximately 3–6 years of relevant experience in areas such as:

Operations, logistics, distribution, e-commerce operations, supply chain coordination, office management, business administration, FMCG operations, D2C operations or a related environment.

The successful candidate should demonstrate:

- Solid organizational and follow-up skills
- High personal accountability and ownership
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confidence in using business software and maintaining accurate records
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage several priorities simultaneously
- Professionalism when working with senior stakeholders
- A practical, problem-solving mindset
- Willingness to work directly with warehouses, couriers, vendors, hospitals and distributors
- Ability to independently follow issues until they are resolved

Experience with logistics, inventory, couriers, freight, distribution, e-commerce operations or Zoho will be a strong advantage.

Prior healthcare experience is not required.

A specific university degree is not required.

Languages

Excellent Malayalam and English are required.

Hindi or another Indian language will be an advantage.

Location & Mobility

The position will be office-based in Thiruvananthapuram while we establish Mommy First's India operations.

As the business, systems and workflows become established, the working arrangement may evolve depending on business requirements.

Applicants should have a valid driving license and reliable access to local transportation. Access to a two-wheeler will be an advantage.

Regular local travel and occasional travel within Kerala will be required.

Approved business travel expenses will be reimbursed.

Compensation & Benefits

₹4,00,000 – ₹6,00,000 per annum, depending on experience, demonstrated capability and fit for the role.

Additional benefits include:

- Opportunity to help build Mommy First's India operations from an early stage
- Scope for the role to grow as Mommy First expands across India

How to Apply
