Senior Manager – MEP
Location: Vapi, Gujarat

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and technically proficient Senior Manager – MEP to lead the planning, execution, technical management, and delivery of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems across diverse construction and real estate projects. The ideal candidate will be an Electrical Engineering professional with 10–15+ years of experience in construction or real estate, including at least 5 years in a leadership role managing MEP works. Solid hands-on experience in MEP design and execution, encompassing HVAC, electrical systems, firefighting, plumbing, and ELV (Extra Low Voltage) is essential. Proven leadership in managing MEP teams, contractors, vendors, budgets, quality, and project timelines is required. Experience in high-rise buildings, commercial, residential, or industrial projects is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- MEP Project Planning & Execution: Lead the planning and execution of MEP works across construction projects. Review and approve MEP drawings, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and technical specifications. Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, project teams, and other stakeholders. Ensure MEP activities are delivered as per project timelines, milestones, and requirements.
- Design & Technical Management: Review HVAC, electrical, firefighting, plumbing, and ELV system designs. Ensure designs and installations comply with applicable local codes, standards, and safety regulations. Provide technical guidance and solutions to MEP engineers and contractors. Identify and resolve technical issues during project execution.
- Vendor & Contractor Management: Evaluate and finalize MEP contractors and suppliers. Review vendor proposals and technical submissions. Monitor contractor performance, workmanship, quality, and progress. Ensure contractors deliver work as per approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Quality & Safety Compliance: Ensure MEP installations meet required quality standards and statutory regulations. Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits. Ensure proper safety procedures are implemented for all MEP activities. Identify quality and safety gaps and ensure timely corrective action.
- Budget & Cost Control: Prepare and monitor MEP project budgets. Drive cost optimization through value engineering. Track project expenses and monitor MEP-related costs. Review and approve contractor/vendor bills as per project requirements.
- Testing, Commissioning & Handover: Oversee testing and commissioning of MEP systems. Ensure all systems are properly tested and operational before handover. Ensure completion of documentation, as-built drawings, operation manuals, and other handover requirements.
- Team Leadership & Coordination: Lead, mentor, and manage the MEP engineering team. Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance. Conduct regular MEP coordination meetings. Drive collaboration between MEP, civil, architectural, procurement, planning, and project teams.
