Job Summary
Responsible for managing complete blow moulding shift operations, including manpower, machine utilization, production targets, quality, productivity, and shop-floor compliance. The candidate should have hands-on experience in manufacturing 1L to 5L bottles/containers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day blow moulding production operations during the assigned shift.
- Handle production of 1L to 5L bottles/containers as per production plans.
- Monitor machine performance, output, cycle time, downtime, rejection, and scrap.
- Manage manpower deployment and ensure optimum utilization of operators and helpers.
- Handle mould changeovers, machine setup,
and process parameter adjustments.
- Troubleshoot production and process-related issues to minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with Maintenance and Quality teams for smooth production.
- Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining required quality standards.
- Monitor raw material consumption, wastage, and rejection levels.
- Maintain shift-wise production, rejection, downtime, and productivity reports.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, 5S, safety, and quality standards.
- Train and guide operators for effective machine operation and process control.
- Identify opportunities for improving OEE, productivity, and process efficiency.
