Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Mechanical Site Engineer to support the execution of solar EPC projects across Tamil Nadu.
The role involves on-site supervision of mechanical works, including module mounting structures (MMS), tracker installations, and related activities. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in site execution, solid understanding of mechanical systems in solar projects, and the ability to manage contractors while ensuring timely project delivery with high quality and safety standards.
Key Functional Areas
Mechanical Site Execution
Supervision and execution of installation activities related to module mounting structures (MMS), trackers, and associated systems
Installation Erection Management
Planning and monitoring of structure erection,
module mounting, alignment, and torque compliance
Contractor Workforce Management
Coordination with subcontractors, vendors, and workforce for smooth execution
Quality Compliance
Ensuring adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and safety guidelines
Project Coordination
Collaboration with electrical, civil, and project teams for integrated execution
Material Management
Tracking material requirements, consumption, and inventory at site
Key Roles Responsibilities
1. Mechanical Execution Supervision
- Supervise installation of MMS, trackers, and related components
- Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and torqueing as per design specifications
- Monitor daily activities and ensure adherence to project schedules
2. Installation Planning Monitoring
- Plan erection sequences in line with project timelines
- Track progress and highlight deviations with corrective action
