Generic LIMS Business Analyst experience without direct STARLIMS experience will not be sufficient. Experience: 8+ years preferred

Key Requirement Candidates MUST have direct experience working with STARLIMS in a laboratory, pharmaceutical, or life sciences setting.

Please do not submit candidates with only LabVantage, LabWare, SampleManager, or other LIMS platforms unless they also have direct STARLIMS experience.

Required Experience

- Strong hands-on STARLIMS functional experience
- Business analysis and requirements gathering for STARLIMS/LIMS applications
- Experience working directly with laboratory, scientific, QA, and business users
- Gathering and documenting business and functional requirements
- Translating laboratory requirements into STARLIMS functional requirements
- STARLIMS workflow analysis and configuration requirements
- Understanding of STARLIMS modules, functionality, and laboratory workflows




- Experience with STARLIMS enhancements, customizations, and integrations
- Functional testing, UAT coordination, and validation of STARLIMS changes
- Experience supporting STARLIMS implementations, upgrades, or enhancement projects
- Production issue analysis and coordination with STARLIMS development/support teams
- Functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria
- Jira and Confluence
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with laboratory users, developers, QA, and technical teams

Preferred

- Pharmaceutical, clinical, life sciences, or laboratory domain experience
- Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) experience
- Understanding of Oracle/SQL Server and SQL
- Familiarity with .NET-based STARLIMS environments
- Experience working in regulated/GxP environments
