Job Summary:
The Area Sales Manager at Becton Dickinson India Private Limited will be responsible for driving sales growth, achieving targets, and managing all sales activities within a designated geographical area. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and leading a team to maximize market share for BD's innovative medical technology solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets and business objectives for the assigned territory.
- Lead, mentor,
and motivate a team of sales representatives to optimize individual and team performance, including setting goals, conducting performance reviews, and providing ongoing training and development.
- Identify and cultivate robust relationships with key customers, including hospitals, clinics, diagnostic labs, and government agencies, understanding their needs and positioning BD solutions effectively.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new business opportunities, market trends, and potential threats.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and prospecting to negotiation, closing deals, and post-sales support.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and business reviews to senior management.
