URGENT HIRING- SENIOR PATENT ASSOCIATE

Location: New Delhi

Practice: Patent Prosecution & Advisory

About the Role

LEXCLAIM is looking for a Senior Patent Associate to handle patent prosecution and advisory matters for Indian and international clients.

Key Responsibilities

Handle complete patent prosecution lifecycle.

Conduct patentability and prior-art searches.

Analyse novelty, inventive step and industrial applicability.

Prepare and review patent specifications.

Draft responses to examination reports and objections.

Handle hearings and coordinate with the Patent Office.

Manage PCT and international patent matters.

Conduct patent portfolio reviews and IP audits.

Advise clients on patent strategy and commercialisation.

Coordinate with patent agents, inventors, technical teams and foreign associates.





Supervise junior patent associates and patent analysts.

Maintain matter trackers and ensure deadlines are met.

Assist in preparation of patent opinions and FTO reports.

Candidate Profile

Registered Indian Patent Agent preferred

5–8 years of patent prosecution experience.

Strong patent drafting and prosecution skills.

Excellent understanding of Indian Patent Law.

Experience with PCT/international prosecution preferred.

Robust technical comprehension and analytical skills.

Excellent drafting and communication skills.
