We are looking for an SEO Intern who can independently handle and execute SEO tasks assigned by the team.

Key Requirements

Basic hands-on SEO experience through an internship, freelance work, personal projects, or up to 1 year of experience.
Positive understanding of on-page SEO, off-page SEO, keyword research, technical SEO, and content optimization.
Strong understanding of AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization).
Ability to conduct research, analyze competitors, and identify SEO opportunities.
Familiarity with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, or similar SEO tools.
Ability to follow instructions, manage assigned tasks, meet deadlines, and communicate progress clearly.
Strong research, analytical, and written communication skills.
Proactive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn in a rapidly evolving SEO landscape.

Measurable Screening Criteria

Candidates Should Ideally Meet The Following Criteria

SEO Experience: Completed at least 1–2 real SEO projects, internships,



freelance assignments, or equivalent practical work.
SEO Knowledge: Able to explain and demonstrate understanding of keyword research, on-page SEO, technical SEO, and backlink basics.
AEO & GEO Knowledge: Able to clearly explain the difference between SEO, AEO, and GEO, along with practical optimization approaches.
Practical Assessment: Should be able to complete a short SEO task live, such as:
Conduct keyword research for a given topic.
Perform a basic SEO audit of a webpage.
Identify 5–10 actionable SEO improvements.
Suggest how a piece of content could be optimized for AI search and answer engines.
Tool Familiarity: Should demonstrate basic familiarity with at least 2 SEO tools.
Communication: Must be able to clearly document findings and explain recommendations.
Availability & Execution: Should be capable of handling assigned tasks independently and meeting agreed deadlines.
