SAP MDG Techno Functional with Finance Master, Business partner governance and hands on experience using and building OData services, BRF, DRF, SOA replication, S/4HANA integration, CFIN integration SAP MDG Techno-Functional Consultant – Finance Master & Business Partner Governance Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Techno-Functional Consultant with solid expertise in Finance Master Data and Business Partner Governance . The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of SAP MDG functional processes along with hands-on technical development and integration experience.

The consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting SAP MDG solutions, with a focus on Finance Master Data, Business Partner governance, OData services, BRF/BRF+, DRF, SOA-based replication, S/4HANA integration, and Central Finance (CFIN) integration .

Key ResponsibilitiesSAP MDG Functional Responsibilities

- Design and implement SAP MDG solutions for Finance Master Data, including:
- Customer/Vendor and Business Partner master data

- G/L Account

- Cost Center

- Profit Center
- Other relevant Finance master data objects
- Configure and support Business Partner Governance processes, including customer and supplier integration.
- Design MDG governance processes covering:

- Change Request types

- Workflow and approvals

- Validations and derivations

- Data replication

- Data quality and enrichment
- Work closely with Finance, Procurement, Sales, and other business stakeholders to understand master-data requirements.
- Translate business requirements into scalable MDG functional and technical solutions.

SAP MDG Technical Responsibilities
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP MDG development and enhancement.




- Develop and enhance MDG applications, including:

- Data models

- UI configurations

- Change Request processes

- Validations and derivations

- Workflow

- Custom developments and enhancements
- Hands-on experience in BRF/BRF+ for implementing business rules, validations, derivations, and decision logic.
- Hands-on experience in designing, consuming, enhancing, and troubleshooting OData services for MDG applications and integrations.
- Strong understanding of SAP MDG framework, APIs, BADIs, enhancement points, and custom developments.
- Develop and troubleshoot integrations using SOA services and web services.

Data Replication & Integration
- Strong experience with Data Replication Framework (DRF) and replication models.
- Configure and troubleshoot SOA-based master data replication.
- Experience integrating SAP MDG with SAP S/4HANA.
- Experience with Business Partner, Customer, Supplier, and Finance master data integration between MDG and S/4HANA.
- Hands-on experience with Central Finance (CFIN) integration, particularly master data integration/governance scenarios.
- Analyze and resolve integration, replication, mapping, and data synchronization issues.
- Work with middleware/integration teams to design and troubleshoot end-to-end interfaces.

- Ability to work across functional and technical teams and communicate effectively with business stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation or transformation programs.
- Experience with Central Finance (CFIN) projects.
- Experience with SAP MDG upgrades, migrations, or rollouts.
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5 and REST-based integrations.
- Experience with SAP integration technologies and middleware.
- Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 6+ years of SAP experience, with significant hands-on experience in SAP MDG.
- Proven experience working in SAP MDG Techno-Functional roles.
- Strong project implementation and production-support experience.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
