Qualifications

- Experience: 4 to 12 Years

Must Have

- Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development across one or more core SAP modules including Master Data, Order Management, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Finance.

- Proven experience in 3–5 end-to-end full life cycle global SAP implementations, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

- Prior experience in designing and implementing global solutions across multiple legal entities in complex, integrated system landscapes.

- Extensive experience with ABAP development techniques, including:

- Classical & Interactive Reports

- Module Pool (Dynpro) Programming

- Enhancements, User Exits, BADIs, and Enhancement Framework

- Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP)

- Robust experience with Forms and Outputs such as Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, and Adobe Forms (preferred).

- Hands-on expertise in IDOCs (ALE/EDI), inbound and outbound processing, and error handling.

- Experience in developing and consuming SOAP/REST Web Services, RFCs, and other SAP integration technologies.

- Knowledge and hands-on experience with Web Dynpro ABAP, SAP Fiori, and UI-related developments.

- Strong understanding of optimized database programming, performance tuning, and efficient SQL queries (Open SQL, Native SQL).

- Excellent skills in troubleshooting and debugging complex, integrated SAP applications.





- Deep understanding of SAP data models, table structures, and relationships across various modules.

- Exposure to basic SAP system administration tasks, including system tracing, performance analysis, and identifying bottlenecks.

- Ability to map business processes to technical solutions, ensuring alignment between functional requirements and technical implementation.

Good to Have

- Experience working with SAP implementation methodologies such as ASAP, Activate, or Agile-based delivery models.

- Familiarity with modern software development practices, including version control, CI/CD concepts, and code quality standards.

- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including unit testing, integration testing, UAT support, and defect management.

- Exposure to test automation tools and automated testing frameworks is an added advantage.

- Functional exposure to multiple SAP modules such as:

- Sales & Distribution (SD)

- Materials Management (MM)

- Project Systems (PS)

- Service Management (SM)

- Finance & Controlling (FI/CO)

- Ability to create and manage test data across multiple SAP modules for functional and integration testing.

- Experience in supporting production systems, handling incidents, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.





- Good communication skills with the ability to work closely with functional teams, business users, and external stakeholders.
