Role Overview

Gate Manufacturing Private Limited is looking for an experienced Production Manager – Sheet Metal to manage and drive day-to-day production operations. The role will be responsible for production planning, manpower management, productivity, quality, machine utilization, and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in sheet metal manufacturing and fabrication processes and the ability to lead production teams and achieve targets in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production activities.
- Manage and allocate manpower across production lines and processes.
- Monitor production targets, WIP, productivity, and delivery schedules.
- Manage sheet metal processes including laser cutting, CNC punching, bending, welding, fabrication, and assembly.
- Monitor machine utilization, downtime, and OEE.
- Coordinate with Maintenance for machine breakdowns and preventive maintenance.
- Coordinate with Quality to control rejection, rework, and process deviations.
- Coordinate with Planning, Stores, Purchase, and SCM for material availability.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, work instructions, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Drive 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing,



productivity improvement, and waste reduction.
- Analyze production losses and implement corrective actions.
- Train, guide, and develop supervisors, engineers, and operators.
- Review daily production performance and submit reports to management.
- Ensure production is completed within quality, cost, and delivery requirements.

Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Manufacturing Engineering.
- 5–10 years of experience in production, preferably in sheet metal manufacturing/fabrication.
- Strong experience in shop-floor and manpower management.

Job Type: Full time Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
