As a Senior Principal Software Engineer at Infor, you will be a strategic technical leader in the design, architecture, and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing software solutions. You will work across product teams to drive architectural best practices, mentor senior engineers, and influence product direction with a focus on innovation, resilience, and customer value.
A Typical Day in the Life Includes:
Be a technical architect and hands-on contributor for complex, enterprise-scale software systems across multiple product lines.
Define and promote architectural blueprints, patterns, and standards to improve consistency, quality, and time-to-market.
Collaborate with product management, UX, DevOps, and customer success teams to align technical direction with business priorities.
Provide technical mentorship and leadership to cross-functional engineering teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to maintain Infor’s competitive edge.




Contribute to strategic planning and roadmap development in collaboration with engineering and executive leadership.
Lead architectural reviews, performance tuning, and code quality initiatives.
Ensure solutions are cloud-native, secure, scalable, and adhere to compliance standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
Basic Qualifications:
Deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and backend service architecture
Robust knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures
Extensive experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native design patterns
Proficiency in Kubernetes, container orchestration, and deployment automation
Robust experience with API design (REST/gRPC) and system integration patterns
Solid understanding of data storage technologies (relational and NoSQL) and data modeling
Experience with messaging and streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka or equivalent)
