JOB PURPOSE
The 3D Team Lead / POD Facilitator is the first-line manager for a dedicated production pod within PIIPL's arch-viz studio. This is a dual-function role: the individual is both an accomplished 3D practitioner — capable of executing and quality-checking high-quality Blender-based renders and finalised outputs — and a people-first team lead responsible for scheduling, unblocking, and developing their pod's Individual Contributors (ICs).
This role is critical to the studio's output quality. The PF ensures work flows smoothly from brief to final delivery at the 'Pixel Standard', while coaching ICs on craft, process discipline, and cross-functionality. They must be comfortable picking up client comment cycles and finalisation tasks directly where required, acting as a senior technical resource inside the pod.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES




1 · Team Organisation & Workload Management
– Plan daily and 3-week detailed pod workloads; ensure no IC is overloaded or idle.
– Sequence work so that AT/QC stages receive assets early enough for proper review — no last-minute submissions.
– Monitor project schedules daily; maintain real-time updates on Zoho / Monday.com.
– Ensure every IC starts each day with transparent, briefed tasks and confirmed outputs.

2 · Quality Gatekeeping & Pixel Standard Enforcement
– Act as the final quality checkpoint before any work leaves the pod.
– QC all deliverables against project TDDs, checklists, and Pixel Standard references before sign-off.
– Personally review finalised renders and client-comment revisions for accuracy, lighting consistency, material quality, and composition.
– Shift IC culture from 'blame for mistakes' to 'quality score improvement' — proactive, solution-led, risk-aware.
