- ITI or equivalent with an experience of at least 8 years working in research/engineering labs on complex mechanical / electrical / electronic system installation, setup, maintenance and upkeep with good hand-on working knowledge of safety procedures.
- Needs to have the ability to follow procedures and documentation
- Knowledge of working principles and safety with X-ray Systems is a must
- Must be a trained radiation qualified worker
- Must adhere to Safety and Quality policies of the organization to ensure a safe work environment in the Labs
- Ability to safely handle heavy suspended mass, high tonnage rotating parts, high-voltage electrical handling, ESD sensitive electronic components and boards.
- Knowledge of PPE, LOTO for working on highly energized systems and hazard control is a must
- Experience with CT Systems with full knowledge of gantrybuilding, end-to-end know-how of mechanical assembly and electrical wiring would be desirable
- Ability to work safely with independent execution under minimal guidance is a must
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Data collection facilitation would be a significant component of the responsibilities, scanning and collecting data for different scenarios for experimental analysis, design improvement and regulatory needs.
- The candidate needs to be a quick learner on current software, developmental tools, utilities
- Knowledge and familiarity of working in multiple OS environments. Familiarity with Linux OSis a must.
- Previous experience in CT R&D; or product development with strong hands on experience on technical design journey from conceptualization to market launch is desirable
- Ability to perform testing of X-ray or CT equipment is desirable
- Ability to adapt and learn new procedural requirements for custom experiments as required by Research needs of engineering is a must
- This is a senior role and the candidate must possess and demonstrate an attitude to freely share knowledge, train andmentor other members in the team.
- The role requires the ability to manage, mentor and lead a team effectively to deliver to the assigned deliverable goals as a single cohesive unit
