About the Role
We are seeking an experienced OTC Manager (Indian Finance) to lead and manage the end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) process. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Accounts Receivable, Credit & Collections, GST compliance, E-Invoicing, Reconciliations, and team management, along with excellent stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end OTC (Order-to-Cash) cycle, including billing, collections, cash application, cash allocation, and reconciliation.
- Oversee customer invoicing processes, ensuring compliance with GST regulations and E-Invoicing requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Indian Finance regulations, GST laws, taxation requirements, and statutory guidelines.
- Perform and review AR, customer account, and ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Handle credit control activities, customer credit evaluations, and collection strategies.
- Monitor Accounts Receivable (AR) aging and proactively resolve payment disputes to ensure timely collections.
- Drive cash flow improvements through effective collection management and follow-ups.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the OTC team, ensuring high performance, productivity, and adherence to SLAs/KPIs.
- Conduct performance reviews, coaching, training, and development initiatives for team members.
- Prepare and analyze MIS reports, dashboards, collection reports, and key performance metrics.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Finance, Sales, Taxation, and Operations teams, to streamline processes and resolve customer-related issues.
- Support process improvement initiatives, automation projects, and implementation of best practices within OTC operations.
- Ensure strong internal controls and adherence to company policies and audit requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience in OTC Operations, Accounts Receivable, Credit Management, Collections, and Cash Application.
- In-depth knowledge of GST, E-Invoicing, and Indian taxation regulations.
- Experience in handling reconciliations, dispute management, and AR aging analysis.
- Proven experience in people management, team leadership, and performance management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and customer relationship skills.
- Experience working on ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period.
- Experience managing large-volume OTC operations in a shared services or corporate environment.
- Strong exposure to GST compliance, E-Invoicing processes, and reconciliation activities.
- Excellent customer-facing, negotiation, and dispute-resolution skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic business setting.
