About the Role

Hexamicro Private Ltd is looking for a Product Designer to develop innovative and manufacturable products from concept to production. The ideal candidate should have strong mechanical design fundamentals and hands-on CAD experience.

Key Responsibilities

Develop product concepts, 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings.

Design products considering functionality, cost, quality, and manufacturability.

Work on prototyping, testing, and design iterations.

Apply DFM/DFA principles and support material selection.

Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and vendors.

Resolve design and manufacturing issues.

Maintain BOMs, drawings, and design documentation.

Requirements

2–5 years of experience in Product/Mechanical Design.

Proficiency in SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, NX, or similar CAD tools.

Valuable knowledge of GD&T;, tolerances, fits, and engineering drawings.

Understanding of manufacturing processes such as CNC,



sheet metal, injection molding, fabrication, or 3D printing.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred

Experience in robotics, automation, machinery, or electromechanical products.

Experience in taking products from concept → prototype → production.

Exposure to FEA/simulation and vendor coordination.
