About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Accounts & MIS Manager to join our finance team at a growing land plotting scheme company. This is a key role reporting directly to the CFO, responsible for data reconciliation, MIS reporting, budgeting, fund flow management, and monthly book closures. The ideal candidate will have hands-on real estate/land development accounting experience and be comfortable working closely with leadership and auditors.

Key Responsibilities

- Reconcile financial data across sites, bank accounts, receipts, and payments
- Prepare accurate and timely MIS reports for management review
- Prepare and monitor budgets, and track budget vs. actual performance
- Manage and forecast fund flow / cash flow across projects and sites
- Ensure timely monthly book closure with accuracy
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, attend audits, and resolve audit queries
- Liaise with GST, TDS, and Income Tax consultants for return filings and compliance support




- Work closely with the receipts, payments, and accounts receivable teams to ensure data consistency
- Support the CFO with financial analysis and ad-hoc reporting as needed

Requirements

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field (CA Inter / MBA Finance preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in real estate, land development, or construction industry
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliation processes, and MIS reporting
- Proficiency in Tally/ERP systems and advanced Excel
- Experience handling statutory audits and coordinating with consultants/auditors
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
- Valuable communication skills to coordinate across teams and with external consultants
