Position: Maintenance In-Charge

Reports To: Project Manager

Job Purpose

To independently handle and supervise all maintenance activities of the property, with robust hands-on knowledge in electrical and plumbing works, ensuring all facilities and equipment remain safe and fully operational.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle complete electrical maintenance work, including wiring, switches, sockets, DB panels, MCBs, ELCBs, lighting, motors, pumps, generators, and electrical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults and breakdowns independently.
- Handle all plumbing works, including water lines, taps, valves, toilets, drainage, pumps, tanks, and leakage issues.
- Attend to electrical and plumbing emergencies immediately.
- Carry out preventive maintenance of electrical, plumbing, AC, pumps, and other equipment.
- Inspect the property regularly and identify maintenance issues before they become major problems.
- Must have knowledge of solar systems and networking, and should be a valid Electrical License Holder.
- Maintain and repair kitchen equipment, bathroom fixtures, water systems, and other facilities.
- Supervise maintenance helpers and allocate daily work.
- Coordinate with external technicians/contractors for specialized repairs when required.




- Maintain records of breakdowns, repairs, preventive maintenance, and service schedules.
- Ensure availability of necessary tools, spare parts, and maintenance materials.
- Monitor maintenance work during events and ensure urgent issues are attended to without delay.
- Follow all electrical and workplace safety procedures.
- Report major repair requirements and equipment replacement needs to management.
- Ensure all areas of the property are maintained in proper working condition.

Requirements

- Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in hotel/resort/property maintenance.
- Strong and practical knowledge of complete electrical work is mandatory.
- Strong and practical knowledge of plumbing work is mandatory.
- Should be capable of independently troubleshooting electrical and plumbing problems.
- Knowledge of pumps, motors, generators, water tanks, drainage systems, and basic mechanical maintenance.
- Ability to handle emergency breakdowns.
- Good supervision and problem-solving skills.
- ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or related field preferred.
