We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Speech and Drama Teacher to deliver the Helen O’Grady drama curriculum to children and young adults. The role focuses on building confidence, communication skills, creativity, and self-expression through structured drama classes. This position is for our Whitefield Bengaluru branch
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, structured drama classes following the Helen O’Grady curriculum
- Teach students aged 3–18 in a fun, supportive, and inclusive environment
- Encourage confidence, creativity, teamwork, and verbal communication skills
- Prepare students for performances, presentations, and showcases
- Manage classroom behavior effectively while maintaining a positive atmosphere
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Communicate regularly with parents and academy coordinators
- Participate in training sessions and adhere to academy teaching standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong command of spoken English (clear pronunciation and expression)
- Passion for teaching and working with children
- Background in drama, theatre, education, or performing arts (preferred but not always mandatory)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Energetic, creative, and confident personality
- Ability to manage groups of children effectively
Preferred Experience
- Prior teaching or training experience
- Experience in theatre, acting, or public speaking
- Familiarity with child development and creative learning methods
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
