This is a paid, part-time, fully remote internship designed for someone interested in nonprofit fundraising, grant writing, CSR, development, education, or social impact.

- Research corporations, CSR departments, foundations, donors, and relevant decision-makers.
- Conduct professional outreach to corporate CSR teams, foundations, donors, and other prospective funders by email and phone.

- Help develop professional relationships with prospective funders and maintain appropriate ongoing communication.
- Maintain an organized grant and fundraising pipeline, including prospects, contact information, deadlines, application status, outreach, follow-ups, and outcomes.
- Gather and organize program information, budgets, organizational documents, and supporting materials required for funding applications.
- Adapt Dayamani’s organizational and program narratives for different funders and application requirements.
- Identify fundraising opportunities beyond traditional grant applications when appropriate.
- Participate in regular remote check-ins and collaborate with Dayamani’s development team on current funding priorities.
Who We’re Looking For
We are especially interested in candidates who are:

- Skilled at online research and comfortable identifying new funding prospects independently.
- Interested in grant writing, fundraising, CSR, nonprofit development, or social impact.
- Organized, dependable, responsive, and able to meet agreed deadlines.
- Comfortable communicating professionally with corporate CSR representatives, donors, foundations, and other prospective funders by phone and email.
- Confident enough to conduct outreach and follow up rather than waiting only for incoming opportunities.
- Able to work independently while incorporating guidance and feedback.
- Available for approximately 10 hours per week for at least 3 months.
Experience with Indian CSR funding, NGO fundraising, donor research, proposal writing, corporate outreach, business development, or grant research is strongly valued. However,
promising early-career candidates with excellent writing, research, communication, and outreach skills are also encouraged to apply.
Students, recent graduates, early-career professionals, and professionals returning to the workforce are welcome. Candidates with backgrounds in Social Work, Development Studies, English, Communications, Public Policy, Sociology, Education, Business/Management, Social Sciences, or related areas may be particularly well suited.
