Job Summary

Chandigarh University invites applications from highly qualified and experienced academicians for the position of Professor – Management. The candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, curriculum development, student mentoring, academic administration, and contributing to the overall growth of the department. The ideal candidate should possess a strong academic background, significant research contributions, and a passion for delivering high-quality education.

Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic & Teaching Responsibilities

- Deliver undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral-level courses in Management and Business Administration.
- Develop and update course curriculum in line with industry and academic standards.
- Utilize cutting-edge teaching methodologies, case studies, simulations, and technology-enabled learning tools.
- Conduct lectures, seminars, workshops, and practical sessions effectively.
- Evaluate student performance through assignments, projects, examinations, and presentations.

Research & Publications

- Conduct high-quality research in Management and allied disciplines.
- Publish research papers in reputed Scopus, ABDC, Web of Science, and UGC Care-listed journals.
- Guide Ph.D. scholars and postgraduate research projects.
- Apply for funded research projects, grants, and consultancy assignments.
- Present research findings at national and international conferences.

Student Development & Mentoring

- Mentor students regarding academic progress, career planning, and research activities.
- Support placement, internship, and industry engagement initiatives.
- Encourage students to participate in competitions, conferences, and entrepreneurial activities.

Academic Administration





- Participate in accreditation, ranking, and quality assurance activities (NAAC, NBA, NIRF, etc.).
- Contribute to curriculum review, academic planning, and departmental committees.
- Assist in organizing seminars, conferences, FDPs, workshops, and industry interaction programs.
- Maintain academic records and ensure compliance with university regulations.

Industry Collaboration

- Develop and maintain strong industry-academia relationships.
- Facilitate guest lectures, industrial visits, live projects, and internship opportunities.
- Undertake consultancy projects and executive education programs.

Eligibility CriteriaEducational Qualifications

- Ph.D. in Management, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline from a recognized university.
- Master's Degree in Management (MBA/PGDM or equivalent) with a minimum of 55% marks.
- Qualifications as per UGC/AICTE norms.

Experience

- Minimum 10 years of teaching/research/industry experience, of which at least 3 years should be at the Associate Professor level in a recognized institution, as per UGC regulations.
- Proven record of high-quality research publications and successful academic contributions.

Pay: ₹90,000.00 - ₹130,000.00 per month
