1. JOB PURPOSE

To lead and manage the institution's Training & Placement function, build strong corporate relationships, achieve placement targets, and enhance career opportunities for students through quality recruitment, internships and industry engagement.

2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Placement Strategy & Planning

- Develop and implement the annual Training & Placement plan.
- Set placement targets and prepare action plans for achieving them.
- Monitor department-wise and overall placement performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve placement percentage and quality.

Corporate Relations & Recruiter Development

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with HR heads, recruiters and industry professionals.
- Identify and onboard new companies for campus recruitment.
- Expand the institution's corporate and recruiter network.
- Maintain regular communication and follow-up with existing recruiters.
- Develop long-term relationships with key organizations.

Campus Recruitment

- Lead end-to-end campus recruitment activities.
- Coordinate recruitment drives, pre-placement talks, assessments and interviews.
- Ensure smooth coordination between companies, students and faculty.
- Handle recruiter requirements and resolve recruitment-related issues.
- Track offers, selections, joining status and placement outcomes.

Student Training & Career Development





- Plan and monitor aptitude, technical, communication and soft-skills training.
- Identify skill gaps based on industry requirements.
- Coordinate career guidance, mock interviews and employability programs.
- Support students in improving their employability and interview readiness.

Internships & Industry Engagement

- Develop internship opportunities with reputed organizations.
- Facilitate industry interactions, guest sessions and corporate engagement programs.
- Explore opportunities for internships, projects, industrial visits and pre-placement offers.

Team Management

- Guide and supervise Junior TPOs, Executives and other placement staff.
- Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance.
- Conduct periodic reviews of placement activities.
- Build a professional and accountable placement team.

MIS & Management Reporting

- Maintain accurate and updated placement MIS.
- Monitor key placement metrics and recruitment outcomes.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual placement reports.
- Present placement performance, challenges and action plans to management.
- Maintain proper recruiter and student documentation.

3. ELIGIBILITY

Essential

- MBA / PGDM from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Training & Placement, Corporate Relations, Campus Recruitment,



HR or related functions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong corporate networking and relationship-management capabilities.
- Ability to lead a team and manage multiple activities.

Preferred

- Experience in an engineering / higher-education institution.
- Established network with corporate recruiters.
- Experience in handling large-scale campus recruitment.
- Experience in internships, industry partnerships or corporate training.

- Achievement of annual placement targets.
- Industry partnerships and engagement activities.
- Timely and accurate MIS/reporting.

6. COMPENSATION

Salary: As per institutional norms, qualification, experience and suitability of the candidate.
