Job Description:
What you'll own
- Presales
1. Product demonstrations: Run live demos for principals, heads of department, MFL and IB coordinators, and teachers. Adjust the demo to the audience. A head of department wants pedagogy. A principal wants outcomes and cost. A teacher wants to know what changes on Monday morning.
2. Curriculum mapping: Show a school how Lingotran content lines up against the syllabus and assessment framework they already follow. Prepare the mapping documents that go into a proposal.
3. Technical and academic qualification: Answer questions on rostering, data handling, device requirements, integration, and assessment. Know the limits of the product and say so plainly rather than promising into a gap.
4. Pilot setup: Configure pilot accounts, load the right cohorts and content, brief the teachers involved, and make sure the agreed success criteria are set up to be measured from day one.
5. Proposal and tender support: Build the academic and product sections of proposals, RFPs, and tender responses.
- Client success
6. Account ownership: Own every live account post-sale. Know the state of each one without being asked.
7. Onboarding: Take a signed school from contract to live classroom use. Train teachers, set up cohorts, and confirm the first few weeks of usage actually happen.
8. Proactive check-ins: Run a regular check-in rhythm with every account. Do not wait for a school to raise a problem. Usage data should tell you which accounts need attention before anyone emails you.
9. Issue resolution: Be the first point of contact for product and support issues. Resolve what you can, escalate what you cannot, and close the loop with the customer either way.
10. SME escalation: Route pedagogical and language questions to a Lingotran language SME where the answer needs subject expertise, then follow through so the customer gets a real answer.
11. Feedback collection: Collect, organise,
and pass structured feedback to the product team. Volume of complaints is not feedback. Patterns are.
12. Renewal and expansion: Flag renewal risk early. Identify accounts where a second language, a second grade band, or a second campus is a realistic next step, and hand those to the sales team with the groundwork done.
- Non-negotiable:
You can hold a credible conversation with a school. That means reading hierarchy correctly across principals, coordinators, and teachers, and adjusting how you speak to each without losing authority. This is the one thing we cannot train on the job.
Clear, correct, skilled written and spoken English. You will work with customers in India and abroad, and much of the relationship runs over Linkedin (presales), email and whatsapp.
Service-first instinct. You take ownership of a problem until it is closed rather than passing it along.
Comfort learning a product in depth, including its academic logic, not just its buttons.
Organised enough to run twenty accounts at different stages without dropping one.
- Useful to have:
Experience in customer success, presales, solutions consulting, account management, or institutional sales.
Exposure to schools, universities, or education systems in any capacity.
Working knowledge of French, Spanish, or German.
Familiarity with IB, Cambridge, or CEFR frameworks.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year
Benefits:
- Health insurance
- Leave encashment
- Life insurance
