CARE – Chettinad Hospitals, Kelambakkam is looking for an Executive / Senior Executive – Insurance & Billing to manage insurance desk operations, patient billing, cashless approvals, claims processing and coordination with insurance companies and TPAs. The role requires strong knowledge of hospital billing, insurance procedures, documentation and claim follow-up.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle cashless and reimbursement insurance processes for IP/OP patients.
- Coordinate with TPAs and insurance companies for pre-authorisation, approvals and queries.
- Verify patient insurance eligibility, policy details and required documents.
- Prepare and submit insurance claims with accurate supporting documents.
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing, billing and medical records teams for timely documentation.
- Monitor claim status, pending approvals, queries and settlements.
- Handle discharge billing and ensure accurate billing as per insurance approvals.
- Follow up on rejected, deficient and outstanding claims.
- Maintain proper records and prepare insurance-related reports.




- Ensure compliance with hospital and insurance/TPA procedures.

Skills & Requirements:

- Graduate in any discipline; hospital/healthcare insurance experience preferred.
- Experience in hospital billing, insurance, TPA or claims processing.
- Good knowledge of cashless approval and insurance claim procedures.
- Strong communication, coordination and negotiation skills.
- Valuable knowledge of MS Office and hospital billing software/HIS.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Ability to handle patients and insurance/TPA representatives professionally.
- Executive: 1–3 years of relevant experience.
- Senior Executive: 3–5 years of relevant experience.
