Roles & Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver effective French language lessons as per the prescribed curriculum and syllabus.
- Teach French grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
- Prepare lesson plans, study materials, worksheets, assignments, and assessment tools.
- Conduct classroom teaching using interactive and modern teaching methodologies.
- Encourage students to communicate confidently in French.
- Assess students through tests, assignments, presentations, oral examinations, and other evaluation methods.
- Evaluate student performance and maintain academic records.
- Provide additional academic support and guidance to students who require improvement.
- Conduct language-related activities, workshops, competitions, and cultural programs.
- Stay updated with developments in French language teaching methodologies and curriculum.
- Participate in departmental meetings, faculty meetings,
and institutional activities.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive learning workplace in the classroom.
- Guide students in preparing for French language proficiency examinations, where applicable.
- Coordinate with the Head of Department and other faculty members regarding academic activities.
- Perform additional academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the Management or University.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in French or relevant discipline.
- Relevant teaching certification or qualification in French language preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English.
- Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.
- Knowledge of modern teaching methods and educational technology.
- Previous teaching experience in a school, college, or university is preferred.
