Job Title: AutoCAD / Tool Design Engineer

Job Type: Full-time

We are looking for a skilled and experienced AutoCAD / Tool Design Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing sheet metal components, progressive dies/tools, jigs, fixtures, and related tooling as per engineering requirements.

The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks, along with experience in tool design, manufacturing drawings, and CNC/Wire Cut programming.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop sheet metal components and parts.
- Design progressive dies/tools for sheet metal manufacturing.
- Design and develop jigs, fixtures, gauges, and other tooling.
- Prepare detailed 2D manufacturing drawings and 3D models.
- Create assembly drawings, part drawings, and production-ready drawings.
- Modify and optimize existing tool and fixture designs based on manufacturing requirements.
- Coordinate with the production/tool-room team to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable.
- Prepare drawings with proper dimensions, tolerances, fits, and material specifications.
- Generate CNC/Wire Cut-related drawings and programs as required.
- Perform Wire Cut machine programming and support machining requirements.




- Work with the manufacturing team to troubleshoot tooling and design-related issues.

Required Skills & Knowledge

- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Positive working knowledge of SolidWorks.
- Knowledge of PowerMill and Delcam.
- Knowledge of progressive die/tool design.
- Experience in sheet metal tool and component design.
- Knowledge of jigs and fixtures design.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and tool-room practices.
- Experience in Wire Cut machine programming.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Good understanding of GD&T;, tolerances, fits, and dimensions.
- Practical understanding of machining and fabrication processes.
- Ability to work independently and meet design/manufacturing deadlines.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with hands-on experience in tool & die design, sheet metal tooling, progressive dies, jigs & fixtures, and Wire Cut programming will be preferred.

Salary: Negotiable based on experience

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
