This is a R&D; Packaging Technician position for the Ice Cream category. The candidate will be instrumental in packaging testing of various packaging formats including flexibles, cartons, rigids etc., as well as managing packaging specifications (AWS) & Bill of Materials (BoM) in PLM.
Also, candidate will support testing materials and report making, co-ordination & follow up for factory trials & material connectivity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Work on SAP & integrated systems such as AWS/PLM/Interspec for specification management.
* Learn specification hierarchy followed in Unilever and comply with guidelines.
* Understand different packaging format specifications used in Ice Cream and process key
properties according to test methods.
* Coordinate with suppliers/factories for trial material activities, raise Purchase Requisitions and manage invoicing.
* Work in the laboratory to carry experiments and convert technical insights into detailed technical reports.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
* 2–3 years of experience.
* Education: Packaging background.
* Positive understanding of packaging materials & properties.
* Able to capture data and compile it systematically.
