We are seeking an ITI / Polytechnic candidate to oversee and coordinate production activities in our Coir Yarn manufacturing unit. The role involves machine setup, preventive maintenance, breakdown handling, and ensuring smooth production with minimal downtime. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth workflow, maintain production and quality records, and update data to the office daily.

Key Responsibilities

1. Machinery Handling

- Maintain bobbin, winding, and spooling machines
- Set up machines for production
- Adjust tension, alignment, bearings, belts, etc.

2. Production Management

- Supervise day-to-day yarn production activities
- Ensure achievement of daily/weekly production targets
- Monitor workflow and reduce downtime
- Coordinate with maintenance team for machine availability

3. Quality Control

- Ensure yarn quality meets specifications (count, twist, strength, moisture, etc.)
- Identify defects and implement corrective actions.

4. Manpower Supervision

- Allocate workers based on production requirements
- Monitor attendance and shift discipline




- Train operators on process and safety
- Maintain team productivity

5. Reporting & Documentation

- Maintain production records
- Prepare shift/daily production reports
- Track raw material consumption

6. Inspection & Monitoring

- Check machine condition regularly
- Replace worn-out parts
- Maintain lubrication schedules

Required Qualifications

- ITI (Fitter / Mechanic / Maintenance) OR
- Diploma (Polytechnic – Mechanical / Production / Relevant Trade)

Experience

- 1–2 years preferred (freshers with good practical skills can apply)
