Job Overview

NDC Diagnostic Center is hiring an accurate and efficient Sono Typist to join our radiology department. You will work directly alongside Radiologists and Sonologists during ultrasound examinations, accurately transcribing real-time dictations, drafting diagnostic reports, and ensuring timely report delivery to patients.

Key Responsibilities

- Live Dictation & Typing: Transcribe live audio dictations from Radiologists during Ultrasound (USG), Color Doppler, ECHO, and CT/MRI scans into the diagnostic report template with high speed and precision.
- Medical Report Formatting: Format, edit, and proofread radiology reports, ensuring correct anatomical, pathological, and clinical terminology.
- Report Finalization & Printing: Print finalized reports, ensure proper signature/e-signature from the Radiologist, and dispatch them to the front desk or patient portal.
- System Management: Maintain digital logs of daily scans,



archive report copies, and manage patient entries.
- Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 1–3 years as a Sono Typist, Medical Typist, or Radiology Stenographer in a diagnostic center, hospital, or radiology lab.
- Medical Knowledge: Robust familiarity with medical terminology, radiological jargon, organ measurements, and diagnostic report structures.
- Software Proficiency: Comfortable working with Diagnostic Center Software (RIS/PACS/LIS), MS Word, and basic computer systems.
- Key Attributes: High attention to detail, focus under fast-paced live scanning environments, and professional discipline.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
