We are hiring a Video Editor to turn raw footage into scroll-stopping short-form and long-form content for our brands and clients. You own the edit from ingest to final export, working closely with our shoot, script, and social teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit short-form vertical video (Instagram & Facebook Reels, YouTube Shorts) and long-form content
- Cut, sequence, and pace footage for platform-native storytelling and retention
- Add motion graphics, lower thirds, captions, and subtitles (Tamil and English)
- Colour grade and correct footage for a consistent brand look
- Handle sound design, music syncing, and audio cleanup
- Repurpose a single shoot into multiple content formats
- Collaborate with scriptwriters, shooters, and social media managers on creative direction
- Maintain organised project files, assets, and version control
- Ship on deadline across an active content calendar

Requirements

- Proven experience editing social-first video (portfolio required)
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve
- Strong grasp of short-form pacing, hooks, and retention editing
- Working knowledge of colour grading, sound design, and motion typography




- Understanding of Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook video specs and trends
- Speed without loss of craft quality
- Strong file management and deadline discipline

Good to Have

- Motion graphics and basic animation
- CapCut and mobile editing workflows
- Working knowledge of multiple related video-editing tools
- Comfort with AI-assisted editing and asset tools
- Tamil and English bilingual editing (captions, voiceover sync)
