Role Description The Psychologist will work full time on-site at Ananya Child Development & Early Intervention Clinic in Hyderabad. The role involves conducting psychological assessments for children with developmental delays and special needs, including autism spectrum disorder and related conditions. The Psychologist will design and implement individualized intervention plans, provide counseling and guidance to children and families, and collaborate closely with speech therapists, occupational therapists, educators, and other specialists.
Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate clinical documentation, participating in case discussions, contributing to parent training sessions and workshops, and supporting early identification initiatives. The Psychologist is expected to work in partnership with caregivers, uphold ethical standards, and actively contribute to a collaborative, learning-oriented environment.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Psychology and Mental Health, with demonstrated ability to work with children with developmental delays and special needs.
- Proficiency in Psychological Assessment, including standardized tools and child-focused evaluation methods.
- Skills in Counseling, with experience supporting children and families in clinical or educational settings.
- Understanding of Medicine fundamentals related to developmental and behavioral conditions, and ability to collaborate with medical and therapy professionals.
- Master's degree in Clinical, Counseling, or Child Psychology (or closely related field); relevant licenses or certifications as applicable.
- Experience in early intervention, developmental pediatrics, special education, or multidisciplinary therapy settings is highly beneficial.
- Solid interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills, with an ability to work closely with parents, caregivers, and cross-functional teams.
- Commitment to continuous learning, openness to receiving training in new therapeutic methods, and alignment with the clinic's values of integrity, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
