SAP BlackLine Administrator

Location: Remote (India)

Employment Type: Contract or Full time

Working time: 4:30 PM – 12:30 PM IST

We are seeking an experienced SAP BlackLine Administrator to configure, administer, and support the BlackLine platform integrated with SAP ECC/S/4HANA. This role will support financial close, account reconciliation, transaction matching, journal entries, and compliance processes.

Qualifications

- 3+ years of BlackLine administration or configuration experience.
- Hands-on experience with Account Reconciliations, Transaction Matching, Task Management, or Journal Entry.
- Knowledge of general ledger, account reconciliation, and record-to-report processes.
- Experience integrating BlackLine with SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA.
- Experience with user security, workflows, data loads, reporting, and issue resolution.
- Understanding of SOX controls, audit requirements, and change management.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Preferred: BlackLine certification, SAP FI/CO experience, and knowledge of APIs, SFTP, or middleware integrations

Responsibilities

- Administer BlackLine Account Reconciliations, Transaction Matching, Task Management, and Journal Entry modules.
- Configure templates, workflows, matching rules, tolerances, auto-certification rules, and close calendars.
- Manage users, teams, roles, permissions, preparer/approver assignments, and segregation of duties.




- Monitor SAP data feeds, balances, transactions, and interfaces; troubleshoot failed loads and reconciliation issues.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
- Develop reports and dashboards to track reconciliations, exceptions, aging, and close status.
- Coordinate system enhancements, testing, releases, documentation, training, and production support.
- Provide audit evidence and ensure compliance with SOX and internal controls.
- Partner with Finance, Accounting, SAP, Security, Audit, and technical teams to improve close automation and efficiency.
