ShopOS is looking for a Senior Recruiter – Tech & Non-Tech who has been part of a 0→1 or high-growth journey and understands what it takes to build and scale teams with exceptional talent. You will own hiring across functions including Engineering, AI, Product, Design, Sales, Marketing, CRM / Customer Success, Operations, and similar business functions. This is not a coordination-heavy recruiting role. You will work closely with Founders and Hiring Managers to define what great looks like, design the hiring process, map talent markets, build high-quality pipelines, assess candidates, and close exceptional people. Your job is to help make ShopOS a talent magnet.

Key Responsibilities

-Own end-to-end recruitment across Tech and Non-Tech functions including Engineering, AI, Product, Design, Sales, Marketing, CRM / Customer Success, Operations, and other critical functions.

-Partner with Founders and Hiring Managers to deeply understand business needs and translate them into transparent hiring strategies.

-Build hiring processes from 0→1 for new and evolving roles, including Job Descriptions, candidate personas, evaluation rubrics, interview processes, interview panels, assignments, and scorecards.

Identify and test the best sourcing channels for every role and build proactive pipelines through headhunting, competitor mapping, referrals, talent communities, LinkedIn, GitHub, portfolios, niche communities, and creative outbound strategies.

-Conduct high-signal recruiter screens and exploratory conversations that assess depth, motivation, ownership, startup readiness, and career intent.

-Drive the complete candidate journey from first outreach to offer closure and onboarding handover, including candidate engagement, offer conversations, negotiation, objection handling, and closure strategy.





-Partner with Hiring Managers to continuously improve interview quality and hiring signals by identifying weak evaluation stages, process delays, candidate drop-offs, and sourcing gaps—and fix them proactively.

-Build and maintain evergreen talent pools for high-priority and recurring roles.

-Maintain accurate, real-time hiring data across the ATS and recruitment dashboards.

-Create and execute job promotion strategies across relevant channels and partner with Marketing and internal teams on employer branding and talent campaigns.

-Write high-conversion job posts, candidate outreach, and hiring narratives.

-Use LinkedIn, founder networks, employee advocacy, referrals, communities, and creative campaigns to increase talent reach.

-Build role-specific talent communities and long-term candidate relationships.

Use AI tools to research, source, assess, communicate, and close candidates faster and better.

Work Experience

-5+ years of recruitment experience is required

-Experience hiring across both Tech and Non-Tech functions is required

-Experience hiring for Engineering, Product, Design, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, or Operations roles is required

-Experience in high-growth startups, technology companies, AI companies, or product-led businesses is preferred

-Experience being part of a 0→1 journey or rapidly scaling organization is required

-Experience designing or improving job descriptions, interview processes, rubrics, and evaluation scorecards is required

-Experience hiring for GenAI roles is preferred

-Experience in ecommerce, SaaS, or AI companies is preferred

-Experience building a recruitment function or hiring playbook from 0→1 is required
