Work with team members and the IA Leads to understand and document the requirements including business problem or opportunity, data requirements, and technology requirements
Documentation of requirements and user stories in Jira/Confluence, as required
Performing data analysis, data modelling, data profiling of various large data sources in structured and unstructured formats and communicating results to internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrate the ability to solve business problems and manage stakeholder priorities and reporting
needs.
Visualise data, produce business intelligence assets such as reports and dashboards using BI tools (such as Tableau or PowerBI) to communicate complex ideas and extract relevant insights.
Promote a greater awareness and deeper understanding of data analytics ensuring Leaders have a good understanding of the value of data driven analysis and decision making applied to identifying opportunities to uplift business performance.
Provide input into handover to the support team for new builds/enhancements
Knowledge sharing amongst the data analytics chapter and project/squad team members
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, modelling, ideally in a big data environment
At least 5 years experience in requirements gathering in a data
At least 3 years experience in visualisation (ideally Tableau)
Experience working in a large, complex Enterprise in a technology data-related role
Skills (mandatory):
Experience delivering end-to-end insights from understanding the business problem, sourcing & transforming data using SQL and presenting insights to achieve the desired outcome.
Demonstrated ability to combine commercial acumen with analytics skillset to identify insights, trends and opportunities that result in a tangible impact.
Experience in cleaning and manipulating data in a complex environment.
Highly effective verbal and written communication,

Develop and maintain efficient and scalable data models using DBT to support analytics and reporting needs.
Experience with various data modelling techniques such as Star Schema, Data Vault, and Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD) to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Write and optimise complex SQL queries to manipulate and analyse large datasets.
Perform data validation and ensure data quality and integrity across all datasets.
Optimise existing data models and queries for performance and efficiency.
Optimise and maintain existing Tableau dashboards for performance and usability.
Ensure the quality and accuracy of data visualisations in Tableau and Looker Studio through rigorous testing and validation.
Robust business and commercial acumen: ability to transform the WHAT into the WHY to uncover new opportunities for innovation.
Data storyteller: strong ability to present complex data and insights concisely to various stakeholders.
