The Solution Architect plays a key role in solution delivery by translating complex, cross-functional business requirements into a technical roadmap. He/she serves as a liaison between technical and business teams to ensure solutions meet project goals. With a good understanding of various technologies and business functions, the solution architect works closely with stakeholders, technology experts, and shared services teams to create a cohesive and efficient system that meets the needs of the business and supports the growth and evolution into the future.

Required skills:

- Prior lead experience within an IT setting preferred
- Minimum of 12 years of IT experience inclusive of:
- 3 years in a senior-level role
- 5+ years experience in FinTech solutioning in the areas of Payment technology, Accounting, Wealth management, Lending
- 2+ years' experience as implementation/developer role
- Proven project and process management skillset
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the proven ability to communicate complex issues and the business value of solutions
- Strong expertise in cloud platforms, API integration, and microservices.

Good to have:

- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines,



and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Industry certifications such as TOGAF, Cloud
- Strong understanding of AI/ML & Gen AI ecosystem

Responsibilities:

- Lead technical responses to RFI/RFP
- Facilitate workshops, gather business requirements, map business processes, document customer journeys, document high-level business requirements, and translate into specific technology solutions.
- Create and maintain application roadmaps and capability maps for designated business areas.
- Research and benchmark industry best practices and develop new strategies/solutions that can be implemented.
- Collaborate with IT delivery teams for designated business areas and IT Leadership to understand technical debt, areas of prospect, and future recommendations.
- Work with leadership team for thought leadership through presentations, whitepapers, blogs and community involvement.
- Ensure that the roadmaps and technical recommendations comply with architecture standards, established methodologies, and best practices.
- Coach, mentor, and lead internal and external technical project resources.
