Senior Database Administrator (MySQL / Linux) — On-Site

Location: Office & Server Room / Data Center (Full time, In-Office)

Experience: 4–7 Years

About the Role:

We are looking for a hands-on, on-site Database Administrator to manage our mission-critical database servers, local server racks, and high-availability enterprise environments. Because this role deals with sensitive core data and on-premise hardware infrastructure, physical presence in the office and data center is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain, monitor, and tune high-throughput MySQL/MariaDB database clusters hosted locally and in hybrid configurations.

- Oversee physical storage, server hardware health, RAID configurations, and backup tape/cloud rotation procedures.

- Diagnose complex query deadlocks, optimize slow-running execution plans, and implement tight security controls.





- Be part of the physical data center escalation rotation for hardware failures, catastrophic recovery, and emergency maintenance.

- Collaborate face-to-face with system administrators and network security teams to patch vulnerabilities immediately.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Work Mode: 100% On-site requirement with participation in physical server room maintenance.

- Core Skills: Deep expertise in MySQL internals, InnoDB architecture, Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) administration, and Bash shell scripting.

- Reliability: Proven track record of managing enterprise uptime, incident handling, and on-call accountability.
